Established in 2006, 'Ocean-Oseyo' is a beachside general store located 5 minutes away from Sokcho Beach. While similar to any name-brand general store, 'Ocean-Oseyo' also offers rentals for surfboards, wetsuits and more; for those who wish to take a dip into Sokcho waters.Under Aleix Kang's management, the store expanded into a two-storey establishment — with the once empty second-floor loft being revamped into a lounge area with views of the ocean. Equipped with vending machines and small kitchen appliances, visitors are able to enjoy a quick meal (or two) in the comfort of 'Ocean-Oseyo'.Recently, the store has created a free library section in the lounge; where visitors could either donate their pre-loved books, or give one a new home.

Aleix lives in the apartment right above 'Ocean-Oseyo', with his pets Bada, a brown Pomeranian, and Pado, a golden British-Shorthaired cat. On certain days, Aleix allows his pets to roam the lounge with customers. (A post will be made as a warning for those who are allergic to animal fur.) Rest assured, the lounge gets a deep-clean the very next day before re-opening to the public.
